IDP Mild FICM tune

Hey guys I just got back from a month of training in the mountains of Utah. Before I left I sent my FICM to IDP to get their Mild FICM tuning. I went with the mild because I do not plan on going with bigger injectors. I got back yesterday and installed the FICM today along with a new set of Optima Red Tops. The truck starts up very quick now however their is no seat of the pants difference and my turbo PSI guage is topping out at 19-20 compared to 24-25 before the IDP tuning. So I would suggest if you are looking into the IDP FICM tuning and are expecting a big difference you may want to go with the moderate because for the same $200 the mild is pretty disapointing

I would say that if there is any gain in power it may be mid range starting at about 2,000-2,500 RPM with the pedal buried. Definately not an eye opening difference though. No difference on turbo lag. I am doing the FICM tune only. It will probably take me a while to burn through the fuel I have in it now but I always hand calc fuel milage for every tank and will post the results when I get them.

thanks i was just wondering as this is something i may want to do. i never really "felt" the power differences between the newer or later ford flashes, or at least it was kind of hard to really know without a dyno. i guess that's kinda what your doing, now running IDP's version of the best flash compared to the ones that got overwritten through out the recalls.
only way i can really think of it... thanks again and hope maybe after sometime behind the wheel things change.
