Replacing parking lights

The light under the headlight (parking light maybe) needs to be replaced. How does one replace the bulb?
Also, how does one replace the lights in the running boards?

The vehicle is an 02 Ex limited

TIA,

Anthony

The running board light has a metal plate protecting the socket. Remove one nut, loosen the other and swing the plate out of the way. Turn the socket 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and remove. The bulb pulls out.

The sockets can get corroded, there are common Ford-type replacement sockets (like for license lights), or buy the OEM socket.
