To convert over to standard, you're gonna need a few parts other than a transmission.
4 Speed...
You'll need to pull parts from an '83 - '86 (some '87) F250 or F350 DIESEL.
If your truck is 4x4, search for '83 - '86 (some '87) f250 and '86 (some '87) F350 (F350 didn't come 4x4 until '86)
Pedal Assembly, Clutch Master Cylinder, Bellhousing, Slave Cylinder, Transmission (T19 4 speed), Transfer Case (BW1345 comes with the T19), Drivershafts from any truck model that is like yours and has the same setup as you.
If your truck is not 4x4, forget the transfer case.
5 Speed...
You'll need to pull parts from an '87 - '97 DIESEL. You're getting the ZF5.
Pedal Assembly, Transmission, Clutch Master Cylinder, Flywheel, and Driveshafts will get you started.
There are many threads and write-ups on the ZF5 swap. Try searching for those, because I'm sure I missed something...because I'm unsure about the transmission crossmember, you may have to move it. I'm not sure...
Also, while your searching, keep your eyes open about the Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) used with the ZF5. It may make you think about a simple, trusty 4 speed instead.
I still think the best combo behind an IDI is a good ol' cast iron 4 speed. But, they lack overdrive. I'd say a T19/NP205/Gear Vendors is going to be in my future...
