Finally riding

I finally got to the point that I can drive the truck on the road. Got the windshield and back window in Sat. Also put the hood on. Took it down the road a couple short drives and was in hog heaven. I am going to drive it awhile before finishing the paint.

You mean you made it to North Carolina?

J/J. Great job on the truck. There's nothing like a cruise in an old truck down a lonely country road.

The wheels came from Early Wheel Co. at earlywheel.com. The front are 15x6 smooth bare, 4.25" back space,10 hole center, large ID with BFG T/A radials size P215/70/R/15. Rear are 15x8 smooth bare, 5" back space,10 hole center, large ID with BFG T/A radials size P275/60/R/15. Had to have large ID to clear disc brake calipers. Red powder coating on all. Trim rings and hub caps came from same source. Hole pattern with 10 holes work for 5x4.50 and 5x4.75.

Chopped cabs and lowering is just not my stile. Any one who likes it I do respect their choice. I also have quiet mufflers and it sounds like an electric truck until the fan comes on. I guess I am too old to want changes that I don't have to accept. It will all be red when finished. Those fenders and boards are just black jel coat on fiberglass. I sanded all the ridges and bumps out, that is why they look like they do. It would not look bad two tone though. Thanks.
