I would recommend selling that POS and buying a LB7 Dmax so you can replace injectors multiple times at $4k each time, worry about overheating out of nowhere, and pray that Allison makes it home without going into limp mode.
The best part is most shade tree mechanics won't work on certain things, in fact even some repair shops I know around here won't even take one apart.

I used to have a 7.3 and I had to get rid of it. Everyone said it was the best motor ever made. I now have my 6.0 and did a bunch of research on it before I bought it. I could not buy new and used was my only option. That happens when your wife divorces you and are forced to short sell and get your credit ruined....
Bottom line is I have read and learned soooo much from the folks here that I now LOVE to jump under the hood of this thing and get to work. I have been slowly doing this and that to fix, change, or attempt to prevent issues. And I thank all of you for that knowledge because I NEVER would have without it.
