There is a 60's chev truck in pieces, eighties el camino, old rambler wagon and a chevy wagon.

All except the truck were pretty well complete drive line wise. I could probably fire the 3 cars up with a bit of work.

The 350 was missing the intake and carb. I felt the need to dent the door, and climbed it instead

Old Dodge that has been in the woods forever. My dad has been telling me about it for years and I just found it 2 summers ago.

 

Awesome thread. There is an old pink Cadillac (1950s it looks like) that rolled off a highway down the road from my farm. It's been sitting there ever since it rolled over. My neighbor has lived here 30 plus years and said it's been there as long as him. It's just too remote for anybody to get to to pull it out. I'll have to see if i can get a pic of it sometime.

 

Here's a bunch I found locally. I could see a bunch of these cars up in the woods from the road, last spring I stopped up there to check it out and holy crap. I think it's a yard that used to belong to a towing company because a lot of the cars have body damage, but I don't really know. Somebody owns it and has all the vehicles blocked in with other vehicles. It's a shame to see everything rotting away like it is.

This is actually a convertible GTO. Probably would be worth some huge bucks if it wasn't a rusted out hulk.

Sad, sad stuff.

 

Really neat post, I love looking at the cars in the junkyards, you can picture what they would be like when new. I want that Packard =) more than likely not savable though.
