I have a 2001 FORD F250 Super Duty Diesel that is leaking oil from the small hole in the torque converter cover. Does anyone know what the cause of this can be. It is oil for sure. i origanally thaught it was the oil pan gascet but after closer inspection found it is definately the torque converter. Currently unemployed so im hoping i dont need to take it to the shop. It appears to be some sort of drain hole. the troubleshooting guide in my CHILTON says nothing about this. Thank you for your time and help.

Ok. I thaught it might be the rear main seal. Until i found oil on top of the engine under the fuel filter. it might be the high pressure oil pump, or turbo, havent pinpointed it yet. the oil must have been flowing down some sort of drainage tube to the torque converter.
