E3 spark plugs

has anybody put E3 plugs in you 6.8L? I'm about to do new plugs and am looking for some input on what plugs folks are running.

I asked myself the same question a couple of years ago, thinking of saving money in gas milage. So I asked a contractor I know about them and he tried them in a couple of his trucks. Some of them broke during high stress work. He took them out after only a couple hundred miles. Another thing he said they were made in China. That says it all right there. Stick with MC.

I bought an E3 plug for my weedwhacker mainly to get a look at the quality of them. They are an overpriced chinesse made plug. Reminds me of those Splitfire gimmick plugs. The cheap autolite copper plugs are of better quality. Stay with what works.

On a side note, I have yet to see a single OBJECTIVE test indicating any of the gimmick plugs produce any difference in performance when compared to a quality OE plug, like the Motorcraft Platinum.
A lot of marketing studies comparing brand new gimmick plugs to some kind of unknown "reference" plug, or to stock plugs with extreme wear, but never new gimmick to new OE.
