Parker 801 vs 836 hose for in tank mod
I can't find any Parker 836 hose. I know it is probably better to use then the 801, but I can find the 801 locally for $2.64 foot.
801-6-BLU-RL-C - Parker Push-Lok 801 General Purpose, Color Coded Rubber Hose
Should work fine right? I'm using Parker push-lok fittings on the pre-pump filter

They sell this at autozone: Goodyear® Engineered Products :: Fuel Injection Hose SAE 30R9
Bio diesel compatible. Might want to try some hydraulic stores as well.
Here is one I used for some transmission line: 3315 Stanford Dr Ne - Google Maps

Thanks guys, I think I will just go with the Parker 801, I'm sure it will do the job. TD, I was looking for some push lok compatible hose. Goodyear makes Insta-grip, but I haven't found that in town either. Last time I did this I got the hose from Dennis at ITP Diesel and it was the Insta-grip, now I think he is using a Gates product, which I can't find in town here either. Albuquerque is too small a town sometimes, and too big most of the time.

I think he is talking about the line from the fuel pump to the tank. I don't know what the oem ones are but I have heard not to use galvanized. I think break line is ok....

Break line is galvanized coated, that is what I used. The 3/8" flex supply line and the 5/16" return line I used is Goodyear # 30R7 50 psi Fuel and emission rated.( also diesel rated)

Well hopefully it will be ok with the break line. I have the same and if I did it over again I would go with SS. Here is one thread about it: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...fuel-tank.html

Jeff, you are the man, thanks for that link. I'll give them a call today. The local Parker store here only carries the 801 which I'm sure will be fine, but the 836 is rated for even today's bio-diesel blends. Not like we have any bio-diesel out here yet, but one day maybe. Plus the local store wanted $2.64/ft for the 801. FYI guys, I am using SS line for the in tank stuff. This if for outside the tank to and from the pre-pump filter and pump. I'm using Parker push-lok fittings so the hose has to be compatible. The goodyear would work just as well, but I couldn't find that either.

Nice, Plastic Process Equipment homepage I bookmarked that. I went ahead with the 801 at $1.05/ft. After reading more I think the 836 would be over kill. Thanks again Jeff
