Carb number decoding....Number Dummy?

I was wanting to get a rebuild kit for my carb and I want to make sure I get the right one. The only numbers that are on it are on a sticker that says remanufactured 26451002 and below that is 08254039. Its a motorcraft and I have a 78 F150 302 2wd auto. Let me know if you need anymore information.

Those sticker numbers are worthless to me. An autoparts store may be able to decipher them, but I cannot.

I need the carb ID tag number, it's on a triangular shaped tag that's bolted on the airhorn, but...

Do not be surprised if it's missing.

No tag number: Where was the truck sold new? CA or Canada makes a difference.

Dunno where it was sold new? Post the DSO code found on the Warranty Plate.

Based on the VIN the truck was built in Kansas City, MO. I am not sure if that will help.

Oh, it's a reman...it's a ticking time bomb.

I'm pretty sure they tossed the carb tag as well.

Assembly plants rarely dictate the location where the vehicle was sold new.
