No side mouldings, so...this is prolly a "plain jane" Ranchero, body style 66A.
There was also a Ranchero 500 (body style 66B) with side mouldings, and a Ranchero GT (body style 66D). The GT had tape stripes in lieu of side mouldings.

I just thought y'all would like to know what '68 model Ranchero this mangy old rolling pile of miseries is.
btw: I also prefer the 1957's. Had one in the 1970's, restored it...then sold it to actress Melissa Gilbert, who proceeded to run it into the ground.
It's still around and has been restored again.
Ranchero's are very prone to rust, even in dry desert states. Underneath the bed floor is the station wagon's floor pan, which includes the 2nd seat foot wells, and the spare tire well.
Since Ford used CAULKING between the bed floor and the inner bed panels, water eventually begins to seep in, once the caulking 'goes away.'
Gotta look close when buying one a these, cuz there's so many hidden places rust can develop.
For one thing...the spare tire well fills with water and rusts out. When this occurs, the fuel tank can fall out on the road, cuz it's mounted below the spare tire well.
Not pleasant!

I had a 57 and a 58 in highschool in Tacoma Wa, and your correct about the damn thing leaking, and that was back in "64"! I've been trying to find one here in the Eastern Oregon desert that might be OK, but so far nothing.................

A friend of mine has one that looks just like that in Medford. I don't think there is any way he would sell it though. His grandmother bought it new and hardly drove it....that thing is CLEAN.

That 66 Fairlane that I sent the pictures to you is still for sale, he is still asking like $3000 with the trailer that it is sitting on. He has a 66 F100 crewcab sitting there also for sale, afraid to ask what he wants for it.

3 grand is a little more for what I'm looking for ( basicly a shell) and I don't need another trailer. I have 2 already.............
