the only problem I have had with an apple product was my last ipod touch. it stopped working properly so I restored it and tried to sync it back up to my laptop but it would just restart itself. I took it to my clooset apple store and they tried to sync it up to their equipment and it wouldnt so they said here have a new one.

I had a customer whose daughter had a nano and itunes stopped reconizing it.. Tried doing a reset and it still didn't work.. Other ones they had worked fine..
Don I replaced my old ipod touch when it was still under warranty. It was quite painless for me to have them check it out. The current one I use hasnt had any problems. My old one is a first gen ipod touch and when they replaced I had already bought a second gen ipod touch so I gave the replacement to my dad for a fathers day gift.
