Just bought a 2000 ford excursion. Want to touch up some of the chips in the paint, but can not find the paint color with the paint code listed on sticker by the driver side door.
It calls for paint code LE for exterior paint but no where do i see that paint code for a 2000 ford, and yes I'm positive it says LE. Can anyone tell me what the LE paint code is for. It is a dark green. Can any one help with my problem thanks in advance.

 

I have a 2003 Limited, Dark Green. Exterior Paint Code: P5

 

It shows that LE stands for "L" leather captian chairs, and "E" stands for medium flint.


use the articles/specs tab above and search your vin. I will tell you a bunch of stuff. Mine is an 02 and I have LH. Thats for leather captian, and medium parchment.

 

FU buddy. Just kidding. It looks like that might be your paint code.

You may want to visit the local parts/paint supply store ( We use O'Reilly ) that serves the body shops in your area. They can identify your paint code, usually for free.
