Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor Removal

Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor Removal
I have a 1999 f250 with the 6.8 V10 engine, I think the cylinder head temp sensor is bad. I found one on the drivers side head under the intake manifold, near the thermostat housing. Does anyone know if there is more than one sensor? Also will I have to remove the intake to replace it or can I sneak it out without removing the intake?
Thanks

I just recently replaced mine...
All I did was remove the alternator, cut a 3/4 inch wrench and did a little bending to it to get the right angle. Takes some patience but it can be done without removeing the intake.
As far as there being a 2nd one to the best of my knowledge there is not, but then again I'm getting the same code again so don't hold me to it.

My memory says I found what looked like two coolant temp sensors while I had engine apart.... I was thinking one for ECU and one for temp gauge. As for where they were, my memory is far less helpful. I was working on BMW's and Nissans at the same time. I remember the one you describe... But the other? I got nothing... sorry.
