FASS, DIY fuel system, CCV, GPR LED, Hutch....questions...pics to follow...

Background: I installed the GPR LED mod and CCV, this had been covered many times so not worth going over; I then wanted to install a fuel pressure gauge to see how my greasecar (already on Ex when I purchased it) fuel sytem was working. When I hooked up the fuel gauge to the fuel bowl I got nothing. Turns out that greasecar does some sort of vacuum or something. As soon as I found this out the work began....

I had a FASS sitting in my garage that I picked up cheap, (FASS HD F14 090G 150/90-2014@55psi) I decided that I needed to redo my whole fuel system....wow.

I started at the tank and did the hutch mod and installed the FASS. I ran 3/8" line from the tank to the FASS and then to the engine. Currently my FASS return is installed into the return line on the tank. I was told that since the FASS removes air and pressurizes the line I didn't need to have a return line from the engine, is this right?

Then I ran 3/8" line up the engine and into a T. I deleted the fuel bowl and removed all the greasecar system. One of the lines goes to the passenger side rear head and the other goes into the drivers side front head. There is no return...is this correct?

Is it worth running a RR with a FASS? I don't have a regulator yet but I'll be installing one at some point. I've read it can be challenging getting it all dialed in. I'm tired and will post pictures tomorrow...

Special thanks to soutthpaw for the use of a few tools, a heater and moral support...

Send a message to CPUNeck.. we were discussing a RR on his WVO rig and he had a few reasons to not run a RR..

I can't recall what the reasons were cuz i'm a child when it comes to running WVO

I will. I'm currently not running WVO, just want to get my fuel system correct so performance mods will benefit in the future and take the unknown of what was there...I do plan on some point of putting wvo back on, just not right now.

well a RR will increase your fuel line pressure to 65-67psi.. You will see better throttle response but no real huge gains till your north of 450HP.

I wanna do one for the drive ability of my truck. When I chat with CPUNeck i will have him post and explain his reasoning.
