Mileage when purchased and date: 52k, 11/2005 (Almost breaking 70k now)
Price: $2700 (Dealership auction)
>Starter had a dead-spot in it that the auctioneer passed off as low batteries. Ended up taking it back to the dealer the following week and they made good on the deal by covering the labor of replacing it (had to pick up the price of the starter though). $300
>Driver's side caliper locked up, ended up getting a rebuilt from Napa. $45
>Due to FALSE diagnosis of smokey starting by a mechanic, valve stem seals replaced. The same mechanic screwed up one of the return lines and was forced to replace them all. Even had the heater core checked and one glow plug replaced. $600...Really wish I hadn't had the valve stems done as the truck has NEVER been the same.
>New set of front tires and one rim (original was bent somehow) along with alignment. $300
>Other than those parts listed above and normal maintenance, a full set of Motorcraft ZD9 plugs (starting videos soon to come). $74
It has been a great truck for the last five years and I hope will last for years to come. I kick myself for not finding the forum sooner honestly, would have saved me alot of headache! Also, turbo kit waiting for better weather to finish installing

1st owner put 300,000 highway miles pulling a horse trailer, sold it and then bought it back at 325, sold it again at 354 and I grabbed it. new battery cables,alternator,tach sensor, soup bowl mod, new bucket seats, plan on giving it to my 3 yr old son when he's tall enough.
'92 F250xlt xtended cab 4x4 e4od 7.3, no soup bowl, 33's bucket seats from a 2003 grand cherokee, and to top it a homemade kayak rack.
things replaced or rebuilt-injection pump, injectors return lines glo plugs,lift pump,alternator,starter, battery cables,batteries, belts,oil cooler, transmission-all lines, and sensors, bed, radio/cd, yada yada yada

1993 F-250HD 7.3L IDI E4OD 370,000 miles. Straight pipe exhaust. IP turned up 1.5 flats with a Diesel Recon pyro. 0-60 in 11 seconds.
Well my rig's a little old,but that don't mean she's slow. There's a flame from her stack, And the smoke's rolling black as coal!

I paid $400 for my truck but it had a working eagle lift gate on it and came with the original tailgate and bumper. I took the liftgate off and sold it for $400 so I did not pay for really anything. Gotta love free.

pass side tie rods (not "bad" but doing anyway)

check both fuel tanks, both leak when full

I've since put $2000 into it. Brakes all around, GPs, head gaskets since it had swollen GPs, return lines, electric fuel pump, positive battery cable, PS pump and high pressure line, firewall repair plate for the clutch master cylinder, used tires from my dad's truck, batteries, and I'm sure there's stuff I'm forgetting.
I have paid more for some trucks for parts than many of these rigs. lol
my flatbed started out with a 91 4X4 7.3 zf5 with a shot body for 1000
then I bought the extended cab 4X4 T19,3.55 gears in wyoming for 800 and used the 7.3 motor.
I had probably had 500 or more in the flatbed not counting labor in the bed.
I now have another body to swap on it off a 2X that I gave 1000 for but am using the motor for a different rig.
So for the use I have gotten close to ten years out of I have around 2300 plus lots of labor. But it was a very dependable daily driver that I have driven all over the us and pulled a 5th wheel many of those miles and hauled lots of hay with it, It doesn't owe me anything. lol
absolutely no dodges.

84 f250 asking 1800 got it for 1200 came with 4 new bfg at tires 4 spares with rims , a chrome stack, a snow plow , t19 4:10 gears bw1345 tcase . . i did a 55 dollar paint job on it put the stack on put in a drop in bed liner and farm bumper and found a real nice bench seat on craigslist .. other than that i just change the oil and i replaced the junk autolites gps with motorcrafts and a return line kit .. I LOVE my old ford !
