First off- this is just to see if there are any around. Not saying I'm gonna buy one anytime soon, but if there is one around cheap, (ha- or free that you just want gone) I may jump on it. You know the story: funds are limited! But you never know til you ask!
I have a '76 F150 Explorer Supercab Longbed. It's a two wheel drive, and I've always wanted a 4x4. I think it'd be easier to find a 4x4 frame and put my body on it. i don't have the fabrication skills to mod my current frame.
SO- anyone near south central PA (or within reasonable driving distance) have a 73-76 Supercab longbed 4x4 frame? A parts truck would be fine- I don't need the engine or body, so it can either be not running or body can not be there or trashed. I'm gonna assume I'll need the title, since I'll be using the frame with my body and all. I will need all the parts for the four wheel drive. (front axle, transfer case, auto tranny, ect ect)
i know of one that will be dirt cheap in northern califonia, no motor, trans, i already snaged the cab and the owner wants to keep the utillity bed, if your intrested drop me a line
