I have a 1999 F350 PSD ambulance and when I have wipers on an intermittent setting it will run fine and after a couple minutes it runs real rough and dies. It will immediately restart fine but if I leave wipers on it will repeat. Any help?

 

Your CPS is probably bad. Common problem down in the 7.3 forums.

 

Sounds like the common CPS failure. Dont get a CPS from the parts store get one from your local Ford dealer the parts store models dont last very long and have a high failure rate.

 

just replaced cps last week from ford because scanner from snap-on listed cps as first code. other code is 0478 but mechanic said wipers on intermit sounds weird.
