Dreamtruck, I have taken apart Mustang vent windows and also later 76 & 84 vent windows and they are almost identicle as the ones above. Basically, you have to replace the pivot screws and put springs and nut on the bottom. Than 3 or 4 screws hold it to door and a couple bolt inside the door. You might want to look in one of the parts catalogs (such as NPD) as they usually have a parts diagram. 66 to at least 97 should be almost the same as far as mounting.

Pivot screws

Just pulled all my window stuff out, the frame fir my vent window still has 2 screws left holding it on. Problem is they are inside of the top of the frame. Any suggestions on how to get to them? Or is my only option cutting into the frame?
