I'm an Olympics FANATIC - so much so that I've taken holidays to watch them some years. I was in Beijing 2 years agon (courtesy of my Sis, who's a manager on the US Team) and I would have been in Vancouver but had to go to a conference in Jamaica. All they got was US coverage - it was terrible!

Now I'm back and I'll be glued until Sunday!

Wow thats awesome. I like watching it, I try to watch some each night to stay in touch. I try to make it work to watch the big Canadian ones, if I can!
The really powerful things like the figure skater whos Mother died, then seeing her compete, gives me a good warm fuzzy feeling inside!!!

We watched her skate last night too, and she put on quite a performance, it was good to see. I hope she gets a medal out of it.

See Morris, I told ya, everyone ( or mostly everyone is watching the Olympics). I watch it every day at work, when I can , and every night when I finally get home.

Tonight was a great night, the men's hockey, the women's bobsleigh, even the cross country skiing relay, where we did our best ever, placing 7th.

Yes, watching, Rochette, skate was heartbreaking, considering that her mom was so very instrumental in her skating career, I don;t know these athletes block out all their personal emotions, but she sure put on a performance, making it her personal best ever for scoring.

Although we have not brought in a total of medals that they were predicting, but at least most of ours are GOLD.

I agree, Rochette`s determination was over whelming and today was a good day at the Olympics.
Now I`m waiting for the men`s hockey gold metal show down as well as the men`s/women`s curling finals....
