meh .. I would never use a wrench if I was worried 'bout bustin' a knuckle .. ie: most of what we do has some inherent risk ..
2-3 tons actually .. if you read all the posts from lasitter you'll realize the guy knows how to handle a loaded truck .. and w/ the mods he mentioned his truck will handle it no problem .. he's talking maybe a 30 min trip w/ a load, if that ..

I've never let the fact that making a mistake could kill me keep me from hauling anything!
(And for that matter, I've got my fair share of scars to show for it.)
I consider leaf springs a consumable, not a hard part.
