I saw that the trailer you had a pic of in your other thread had a 53-56 rear bumper.

well i figure i will restore the original front bumper.had to cut off some farmer made push bars made from what looks like a 30,s chevy bumper ,it has a slight twist so it shouldnt pose too much of a prblem

That picture is of the truck and trailer I got the idea from (and I think I said that) - it's not mine..... I would NEVER do such a thing!!!!!!.

And yes you are correct, it's the 53-56 back bumper that all the resto shops are trying to pass off as 48-52 as well. It is VERY close to 48 to 50 but nothing like a 51/52 factory back bumper - the correct variety of which is on my truck in post #2!.
