less restriction.
If you live in a cold climate the Cat can get clogged with too much idleing
You can really hear the turbo whistle after its gone

removing the cat will 'liberate' your truck...kinda like a gay man coming out of the closet!

I wonder if you can buy a stealth cat? Is it hard to gut the inside out of the stock cat?

Tried to get the damn thing off to knock the innards out but couldn't get the thing to come loose on one end. Too damn cold to try right now but once it warms a bit I will take a cutting wheel to it and get it off to clean out. NJ looks for those things so an empty one is really the only option.

The stock muffler is far more restrictive than the cat. 06silvercrew is correct, however, some States are more thorough on the inspection than others make sure You are aware of Your States process.

Just add a cat delete pipe and save your cat if you need it if the future. It's a lot cheaper than purchasing a new cat.
