New Carb - PCV Valve?

67 F-100
I put a new Holley 2bbl on my 352 yesterday. I looks a bit different than the one I took off but the gas line and accelerator linkage hook up OK. I am going to have to dink around to hook up the manual choke but I'm not sure what to do about the PCV valve. My old carb had a big vacuum line for the PCV valve but this one doesn't. The only other vacuum available seems to be the intake manifold to brake booster line. How should I rig this? Thanks.

Hi,

I believe you can "T" into that line without any problems. I would remove the fitting from the manifold that the existing line is connected to and take it to a Hardware store and buy a "T" with the same threads. Buy some Vac hose and you will be back on the road in no time.

Good luck,

Unhappy New Carb - PCV Valve?

Please make sure the vacuum T or the connection is not too small. If it is, you will blow at least your valve cover gaskets out from back pressure. I did it on my 390

What kind of Holley 2V did you get? My 500 cfm has a big nipple on the back right at the base for the PCV hookup.

What kind of Holley? I got it at Checkers. It was the only one listed for a 1967 352. No nipple on the back end although there was one on my original.

Good. I'll put a "T" in the brake booster line. I thought that would be the way to go. Thanks, Lee.
