solar trickle chargers

Anything bad about using a one of those 1W solar trickle chargers that plug in to the cig lighter/power outlet? ( I have one of each).

I hate having such a new vehicle with a brain and everything, always worried about frying it.

It won't fry anything but it probably won't help anything either. We tried using them when I worked for truck storage lot to make up for the parasitic losses from the ecm & radio. Didn't seem to help at all. Your results may vary.
