What Have YOU Done To Your Truck Today?

I removed the gauge cluster backlight tint covers, and put the gauge cluster back in, and cleaned and painted the plastic trim around the gauges. A new starter and a clip for the shift tube to transmission bolt, and she should be back on the road.

My buddy (for pay back of getting him a totally awesome job BTW)....sent me a pilots seat belt, cyclic and collective grip out of a CH-47 flight simulator..... he is taking apart.
Did I mention totally awesome job that I got him? lol
I promptly went to see how the harness will work in my Bronco and if they will make a good 4 spf shift ****.
Now to chase down those finger switches wiring and make them work with some driving lights.
Yes that is a 2 post Craig cassette player with a under dash power booster. Maybe I just found some motivation to finish the red truck?

I had a set of those same seat belts out of an OH58 Kiowa in my CJ5 Jeep. The only problem with them was the mounting holes are only 1/4 inch. I tried drilling one end for a 3/8 bolt. Good luck.......the end mounts are made out of titanium and are pretty much impossible to drill. Try to find Grade 8 1/4" bolts, not gonna happen either. See if he can get the original mounting bolts as they are Titanium also and will be strong enough to do the job.

Got the pretty refreshed 390 stabbed into the 76 f350 dumptruck. Got about everything hooked up I can before front clip goes on and realized I didn't put the spacer plate on the engine. Now gotta repull engine and clutch and install, then put back in. But, since I didn't trust my temporary engine hoist in the garage, I bought the stuff to built one I can disassemble and will be alot sturdier, and easier to use. Since I could only get to the dumpbox into my garage before.
