I think I might try the dry-fit route like pauliwood did in his forum on his Crown-Vic Viking Build.
Sounded like he just pressed it on from the bottom in the middle, looped around and came back, then trimmed and simply installed the sill plate.
Fingers crossed I can replicate that method. I'm using 1980's to 1996 weather stripping for 2 reasons:
a) It's almost 50% the cost of 73-79 weatherstripping
b) It can be trimmed to fit our doors

Made a little video with the GoPro. Playing with different views and angles.

Holy Hell that is one sexy looking truck.
Questions...
1) Specs on tires (size, width, brand (cause I can't read lol), etc)
2) Specs on rims (size, brand, etc)
3) Paint codes (black and grey/silver)
4) Does your truck have a lift kit? If so, what is it, and how much lift?
I gotta know!

Spent last night sorting through my collection. Figured I would share a pic for all you FORD lovers out there. Nothing completes an old truck like a vintage license plate
Took approximately 6 hours of hard scrubbing to get these license plates clean!
*Note - There were about 40 plates drying when I took the photo, so there's many missing from this pic. Including a pair of 1955 plates.

Alloy Eagle 58 Series 15x10. I drilled them to accept the 80's style centre caps.
Black is 2010 Ford Tuxedo Black. Silver is 1978 Ford code "V"
4 inch suspension lift. Front springs are from JBG. Can't remember where the blocks came from. Shocks are Skyjacker If I remember correctly. I pieced it togeather as I had a bunch of stuff from past projects.

Why did you swap out the front springs for something different?
