It died just as I pulled into a gas station. It was the longest cranking, popping, cussing restart ever. I turned around and it died a mile later, slowly and painfully. I replaced the condenser and drove home. I come back to it later that day and it starts pinging out of nowhere. Basically all I did to it was get mad at it.

Wow. I'm feeling pretty lucky considering our trucks are quite similar. You seem to be having a lot of problems with it.

Replaced my inline fuel filter and took er for a cruise to the P-Terry's.

The odd thing is, is that it will be super reliable for a few months, then out of the blue it starts acting differently. I am not blame for the condenser, it was cheap to begin with and is a few years old. The truck does like to vex me though.

New battery cables for the 77. Got them off eBay. #2, tinned copper, wire and lugs. With matching boots.
