The other day I started a power steering conversion on my '74. Waiting on an order from Bronco Graveyard to arrive so I can continue. No pictures, as the last time I was at the shop my phone was dead. I am going with a '77 2wd box, and keeping push-pull type steering.

Made a JY lap and got a few parts, guess what the sport steering wheel came out of and fits our trucks? The horn pad should let you know.....

I got 2 steering wheels with horn pads, duel horn wiring, complete brand new looking Saginaw p/s pump with un-cut lines and all the mount brackets. Blue piece ING module, metal map pocket, 2 OEM dome light covers, another dome light set up, a grab handle, fuel filler neck for another project, and a little bit of miscellaneous.

For....20 bucks, I paid and walked out smiling.

Looks just like the maverick sport wheel I've got.

Maybe it came out of a Maverick originally, but I got it off of a Pinto hatch back. I was amazed that it went right on my trucks steering shaft.

You could always take the entire body off like I did lol. When I get there, brake lines will be very easy to install.

Picked a 79 Bronco of its Dana 44, rear contour bumper, brackets, and license plate lights, grabbed the steering gear and pitman arm too.

The bumper cleaned up well.

If I can get this other rwd scab I've got my eye on I might just do that & use the 460 that's in it as well, but hopefully the brakes are done by then. Plus my work hours kinda suck...

Got the dana44 and radius arms hanging under my 2wd '79 this weekend. Radius arm mounts actually lined up with the trans crossmember bolts. Need to get some lift springs next. Then on to boxing the frame in.

Priced out some lift coils for the front of my 4x4 conversion. $268 for 6" Skyjacker coils from my local 4x4 store. Pretty decent price I thought, considering the other shop I called quoted me $399..

Had a 72 Bronco and put 3/4 ton coils in it, had to do some slight torching on them to fit the coil pads... worked out purfect.
Had a pto winch and 7'plow with no noticeable sag. Both new coils were for passengers side since they were heavier to accommodate the battery.

I may go with JBG 6" coils. Even with shipping to Canada it may be still be cheaper than buying local.

I did a little tuning on the super cab carburetor. It's a little more cold natured now, but has more power and should get much better mileage. (It was really rich before)

Junkyard run today. Bronco heater box for the blue F150. Air cleaner, rear drums, battery box with factory hold down and sway bar for the F350 CS flip project. Need to go back tomorrow to get the radius arm brackets for the sway bar. My brother bought a factory in bed spare tire bracket. He wants me to pickup some Ranger seats for his '83 and a Magnaflow we spotted.
