scored a few goodies for my truck at the junkyard today..there was only 1 dentside there..and it was picked over pretty good..got me a fake woodgrain glovebox panel, the door lock button/rod for the passenger side door(mine was missing), an A/C-heater blower switch with wiring(my truck's wiring was hacked), a transmission cooler, a coolant reservoir/windshield washer tank(from a '93 F150) and a VERY nice bench seat out of another '93 F150 super cab..even the right color! was so happy about the seat that i had it installed right after I got it home. the seat that was in my truck was pretty tore up..
now if I could find that d**ned water pump pulley..was the reason why I went junkyardin'...

Pulled the headlight switch, going to replace that in the morning. Also installed a new tachometer as the previous one decided to mysteriously die on me. Might actually give the girl a bath tomorrow and get her ready for serious DD use.
Also installed new headlight adjustment screws, so now I can point my headlights where I want them to go. One side has been gopher hunting while the other side has been tree-top spot lighting. Thankfully I haven't driven it at night like this! Way too dangerous!
Got to park my current DD and spend some wrench time on it, so the truck gets to take over!

Well found out I have the wrong clutch fork, apparently in 94 they changed the bellhousing to accommodate the body change, so I ordered the correct one. The first one I ordered was advertised as being for 79-04, Im here to confirm that is pure PoPyC0Ck!
In other news I can get it together far enough to determine driveshaft length, so I can have mine modified or find a replacement. I'll be doing a remake of my exhaust at this time too. Who knows if it turns out I may show a picture, if not I'll just say how cool it is,
My magic carpet showed up Thursday. I ordered a black carpet for an extended cab truck hoping to utilize the "extra" in my single cab truck. I need to get the transmission in its final resting place to I can mark and cut the new hole in the tunnel for the shifter location, which is about a foot farther back in the cab than the original. Then make patch panels for both the current shifter hole and the old linkage clutch rod going through the floor board(which should cut down on road noise since I can see the ground through the rotted out boot).

Now that it is warming up and I can actually spend some time in the barn with my 1951 F1 that I picked up in December, I went out and started to making plans for what to work on next. I would like to re-wire the dash (the previous owners wiring looks like a fire hazard). Does anyone have suggestions for where to get a good wiring harness?

I took my truck to Pensacola Naval Air station and back home yesterday to see the National naval Aviation Museum. Total round trip was 618 miles, the longest and farest I have ever driven my truck and she handled it like a champ. On one of my tanks of gas I managed to get 11.14 mpg, ouch...
