Chris glad you got the deal and a lead on other Ford parts to.

Bumper looks good...and so does the rest of the rig right behind it.

You stole that bumper and bracket for 10 bucks....

Now to flip the old one for $25 or more on the Craigslist.

I didn't do this but my friend James a me machinist did this and I picked it up today. This is the adapter from a 2002 FX4 between the trans & t-case. It was machined to fit my 78 205 t-case. This is just one step in the process to put a 5.4L in a 1978 4X4

Robert
I bolted it all up today

courtesy lights

Picked up a couple of underdash courtesy lights a few weeks ago from a Bronco, so installed those tonight. Sure makes a big difference when getting in. Don't have to fee like you're stepping into an abyss.

Finished installing the 96 Cougar fan I picked up at the pull-n-pay. I went with a Derale adjustable controller. It adjusts over a wide range of temperatures which took a bit of back and forth to get a turn on temp of 195-200. Given how much air these fans move, I only hooked up the low speed which does a fine job quickly dropping the temperature. Overall, a nice upgrade that was pretty straightforward.

Put dash trim back on. Still waiting on radio, not sure I like the quality of those 2-post models out there.
