Re-set the timing, capped my header evac tubes in my headers, adjusted my idle circuit on the carburetor. I also installed a crank case breather tank and replaced the tailshaft seal on my transmission. Really tempted to flip the rear hanger tomorrow and lower the rear.

Not much today, just replaced an old, rusted and broken battery tray.

Good news, no more annoying "squeaks" everytime I drive over a bump.

Bad news, looks like I get to replace the passengers side inner fender apron.

Replaced the power steering gear box with a Red-Head Unit. Installed a new lower steering column bearing and a new rag joint.

Went out to Sears and replaced some sockets I was missing, bought some socket organizers and deep wells. Ordered a new tool tote bag from Snap-on.

Getting ready for some tear down of the front clip.

Long freakin day! I finally painted this thing, It came out OK I think. It's my first time painting and I did everything myself. It's not perfect but I did it. Next one will be better

I'm ready to start putting this puppy back together now. If I ddidn't have to work tomorrow I would probably pull an all nighter.

^ Looks good in the pics and was a great choice in color combo!

I put in a newer style Hi-torque starter, replaced speedo gear, tore the rear door apart to fix the window and added a LOT of sound deadener.

Bassdude. Don't be too hard on yourself. Silver (or any variant there of) is one of the HARDEST colors to lay down and have it look right. I still have trouble and I've been doing this for LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNG time.

As for me, I went to the junkyard and found a set of stock steel wheels and dog dish hub caps for my '73. I'm restoring it to stock, rather than changing things. It's just too clean of a truck not to.
