I like the thin steering wheels, but that's just me. Easy to just get a couple of fingers around and cruise!

Cut about a 1 1/2 feet out of my heater hoses. PO had the hose winding over valve cover before actually attaching to upper hose connection??? Removed an aftermarket cruise control that was scarry, and fog lamps and all the horrendous wiring that came with it. Also started restoring / customizing my air cleaner assembly.

We pulled the tired 351m out, getting ready to put the 400 in. I'd like to have it running by Saturday night, that's if everything goes smooth.

Finally put all MSD and a new edelbrock 750 into my 79 f350

Then fired it up to find a real bad knock, come to find out oil pump shaft fell when I did the dist swap..... So time to yank motor out

Then my neighbor took a look and found it when he looked from a different angle..... Front clip is now set on it again, waiting on an alum rad while sitting at home with a sick 2 year old.....

Lost oil pressure, pulled the stick and found slime.

Pulled the top end off it this afternoon and the head gaskets looked good.

Installed a 2" ball on the brown truck to tow a boat...

Maybe tomorrow I'll get on the trailer wiring. The idiot PO cut out the existing wiring.

I finally cut my temporary pig tail for the trailer harness and put in a flat four connector.

My wife asked me if I was going to have Earthquake done in time for the 4wd Jamboree! I told her I'd be lucky to have my street truck done in time.

Adjusted brakes, Clutch and installed new window cranks (Thanks Old Style for picking those up, they cleaned up really nice) My 5 year old daughter was holding my light for me while I was inspecting the underside of my truck (So sweet) Cleaned the inside (Rain coming this week) Fixed loose bolts on front bumper and did some general day dreaming for up coming projects.

Also found intake manifold rear gasket failed so I'm leaking lots of oil, debating if I should fix it now or let it go until I do my engine swap this spring. Its making a mess out of my driveway.

Speaking of messes I discovered my wife's Yukon XL has a bad steering gear box and its also leaking. I will have to put that fix on the priority list before I do any Ford projects.
