What Have YOU Done To Your Truck Today?

Today I took mine to the dump!
Well, I had to take a lot of stuff including about 8 bags of yard waste. Got to the place and the lady at the scales asked, "Is this four wheel drive?" My 75 F250? Of course!
She said that because of the rain last night (four inches) it was too muddy for anything else to go up the big mountain of trash we call the landfill (it just keeps getting higher and looks like a big mesa in the middle of the plains).
Wasn't real muddy but it wasn't pretty, either. Nice to have a truck.

Just made an offer on a house that will require lots of work before I move my family in to it.
What does this have to do with this thread?
I have been saving up money to buy a 6" lift kit for my 79 F350 4X4. I really wanted to do this the old fashioned way instead of just using the credit cards. I wanted to save money and pay cash for it just as I did when I was in my 20's with my first Dent. It makes me appreciate the work I put into my truck much more. I'm only $200 away from my goal so I think I will place my order in by the end of this week.
I have around a month or so to get the lift kit project done if our house deal goes through. After that I'll be busy using my truck to go to Home Depot quite a bit I hope.
Oh! I almost forgot, I cleaned the dash pad, visors and headliner today. Last weekend I replaced my rear window with a tinted glass slider.
Here's a pic before the lift kit install. (And before the tinted glass.)

Thank YOU ... I so Have to show my Dad this We are SOOO very much at a loss because the seat belts we have in the back of my truck are for a bench but the seats I have are those two little sides ones, needless to say making the seat belts useless...Either way I am replacing the seat and the belts

I was tired of tuning the radio every time I started the truck cuz the memory wire wasn't connected. Plus it would sometimes cut out cuz the power wire was loose. Bad PO! ...Thus, I re-did the POs' birdnested, cobbled, and hacked wiring for the AM/FM cassette.
All is good for now. Ahhhhhhhhh.
