What Have YOU Done To Your Truck Today?

I plugged the hole I had put in my roof for a CB antenna that I ended up relocating to another spot. Then I drilled through my cab ---> the bed behind my seat so I could run the cable for my antenna in its new location at the rear corner of the bed by the tail gate. I then put grommets in those holes, ran the cable through them and sealed it up with some silicone rubber. Good as new and no more noise when using my CB.

Installed my new gas tank and pulled my water pump. My new one will be in tomorrow. Started running my new brake line. Got all done except the passenger side front wheel and master cylinder/pro valve. I ran out of line. Just need to run new fuel line and install my water pump and I will be ready to roll!

Epoxied 16 fender washers with 1/4-inch holes over the door panel holes cuz the PO drilled them out to 3/8-inch, applied Dynamat inside the door shells, and then installed the door panels (finally!). The door speakers sound way better and the doors shut with a "thunk" sound instead of the "ping".

Finished all the stuff I was doing. New radiator, hoses, trans lines...
Doesn't sound like a lot, but it is time consuming. At least I can drive more then 20 miles now without steam pouring like all hell out from under the hood.
Still have to go to Harbor Freight for some new water temp, oil pressure, and whatever else I think I might need.
Here's some pics!

Looks like someone took a hammer too it. No wonder it was leaking...JEEZ.
And myself with my beauty.

This week was brake week. All installed this past week
New Master Cylinder
Rear:
New Wheel Cylinders
New Brake Shoes
New Brake Hardware
New Drums
New Hard Lines (the ones along the axle tube)
New Rear Brake Hose
Front:
New Calipers
New Brake Hoses
New Brake hard lines (broke off the ends, so made new ones!)
And then bled them. For once the pedal goes down without a ton of effort! Still need to get the remaining air out of the lines, but at least it can be moved short distances!

yesterday
sandblasted the stripped down frame, Painted frame. Started tearing down the dana 44 front and the dana 60 rear. replaced spring bushings with new poly bushings. Blasting and painting springs today. Hope to blast and paint the front and rear diffs by this weekend. Then I can at least get it back to a rolling chassis soon.

Bought some bolts today to finish off my engine after the 4bbl swap. Some of the bolts were too long to fit the new intake. I will be on my way to Springfield at 6pm to pick up an NP435 and NP205. I hope to get my truck to the car show on Saturday. If everything goes as planned. If I have to buy another part then I cant go because I'm broke after I buy trans and transfer case. I have all the fluids I need I just hope everything goes together ok. It cost me $220 to title and plate this damn thing! THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS! I MISS ALABAMA! It was less than $100 to title and plate.

got my rear and front brake back together and installed the body harness back down the frame. Got the tranny cleaned and ready to paint later tonight. Now just waiting on my 3rd member and axles to get back and I will have a rolling chassis. Taken the body to the sand blaster next monday and ordering the motor.

Shot my "Ranger" emblems with Duplicolor's "Shadow Chrome" and reinstalled them on the bedsides. It's sooooo nice to have the parts pile getting smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller.......'still gotta redo the stereo wiring cuz it cuts out when I hit a bump and that's very often. Annoying.
