What Have YOU Done To Your Truck Today?

Got my last bushing for the rear suspension, LMC truck gave me great customer service when I told them my prothane bushing set had an incorrect bushing in it. They rushed the replacement bushing out, got it today and I finished reinstalling the rear suspension. Also changed the oil and filter in the old girl, and prepped and painted the last wheel so they are all the same color now.

Very nice truck, I am a bit jealous but if i may make a suggestion...
If the mirrors are the same brand as mine, you are gonna want to clear coat the chrome pretty soon. Mine started rusting within months. I have a set of type 3s to install but that means even more holes in the doors.

The best way to do it is have limited vehicles. Mine isn't min yet but have crept up on it with the wife so she is keen for it to happen. Plus I sold another project - she says I can have three cars and two bikes and if I want something different then I can sell something I already have. Fair enough I reckon!
Progress today on the F250 in avatar:
Enquired about hydraulic clutch line. Ordered more intake stuff. Looked at new cam/lifters/springs.

Installed 3 point retractable seatbelts, vacuumed floor then wet scrubbed and vacuumed it again. Much mud. Then I dropped the hose and sprayed myself just to the left of my phone...
Glued the rearview mirror mount onto the glass for the 4th time. This time with rubber reinforced super glue. Can't wait for it to fall off again tomorrow!
Wedged the wing window latch with a piece of wood then went for a drive, admiring the "quiet".

Installed aftermarket gauges in a pod...
Summit gauge set. Tach and pod from GlowShift
Replaced the "ignition coil connector". Soldered the wires, heat-shrinked the connections, wrapped the wires in electrical tape, covered the harness with split loom...
Took "the beast" for a drive to verify the handiwork...
Seems fitting sometimes...
Checked the idle speed with a full load-including a/c and high beams...
30+ degrees below outside temp at idle...

drove my 77 f-100 into town to get stuff for my 77 f-150. it smoked so bad i think i killed all the skeeters in town. have the motor out of the f-150 and making a cradle to mount it to so i can take it to a buddy's house and remove a few things like exhaust manifolds prior to some top end work, a good cleaning and paint.
