Good deal. Remember, age is only a number. It's what's inside that counts.

I'm impressed too!

When I decided to change out the left hand studs in my F350's, I had a shop do it for me. In my defense, I don't have a press!

Did my first body work.

Finally got around to welding the holes in my roof closed. The PO had installed a CB antenna and I believe a orange caution light in the roof. Then left the antennae stub and 4 bolts in the roof to seal the holes. Pulled out that out and welded in patches to seal up the holes. Just put some self etching primer on it for now. Lots of body work to do, I will get to making it look smooth and nice when I do the rest of the work on the cab. Took about 3 hours today and was my very first try at body work. Floor pan is next!

Swapped the dual battery solenoid from the yellow truck into the brown truck.

Replaced the solenoid from the yellow truck with a smart solenoid:

Cole Hersee smart battery isolator

Removed the "blue aluminum block" battery isolator and installed relays for the electric fuel pump and electric choke. These relays came with sockets and harnesses. Wired me up, and they both work!

I do have some loom, so maybe tomorrow I'll clean up the wiring. I also want to run new triggers for the relays, right now they're triggered off the old battery solenoid relay

Ghetto, I know...

Saw that water spots have completely destroyed my hood. Other than driving it, that's it.

Washed, vacuumed, and cleaned up for a car show in a couple weeks...

Then put under cover to hopefully stay clean!

Thank you! I have recently considered selling her, and even advertised, but a friend saw the ad and helped me see the light. I will never find another like it, especially considering my friend owned it and I drove it when I was about 12 years old... also both my wife and I grew up riding in our Dad's 70s Ford pickups so the nostalgia is strong too.

Thanks again for the compliment!

Tore the engine down farther to replace what I hope is the source of my coolant leak. It's been sitting with everything coolant related removed and still has a leak somewhere in the back.

Also learned some engineer was very cruel and put the push rods thru the manifold instead of making the manifold and heads separate... Didn't know they did that

Still grieving over the ruined paint, I was lightened up a little by putting a rear view mirror on my truck, which marks the first time it has had one for as long as I have had it.

On my Crown Vic, it was the one freeze plug I could reach without pulling the engine. And on the F250, I think I'm loosing another freeze plug. Look for tell-tale streaks of rust under each plug.

I looked at those a few months ago, but I'll take a closer look just to double check. Thanks for reminding me
