Added ground strap from motor to cab, and from motor to frame. Put in ultra 40 spark plug wires. Also opened and checked out my new coil, fuel pressure gauge and pinion angle shims.
Sure looks better than that one that got attacked by a pair of Trex's...can I confirm that you used your old seat bottom frame and sliders and it bolted to the bottom of the new one?
I installed new 3" exhaust and Summit house brand mufflers. Tomorrow some pipe will be put on the back half of the muffler. It is LOUD right now with the muffler outlet being open. The engine seems to bog down less with the 3" pipe.

Thanks.
Sure did, took no time at all. Popped the old rails off and put on the new seats and bolted right back in. Feels alot nicer now. I think you can gets seats from any f - series up to 96 and do this. I also installed a trailer lights plug in so I can pull my trailer that I don't have legally haha.
61steven, what motor is that going on? Tylerj150, where did you get those?! Definitely on my wish list now. Today, I removed my battery tray, took off all the rust with a wire wheel then sprayed it with rubberized bed coating.
Correct, it's the Sealed7 kit for jeeps, but they of course use the same lights, I'm probably just going to have to do some trimming on the light buckets and core support to clear the depth of these.
Tyler, do your lights have glass lenses, and are they still domes or are the flat? How much deeper are these than originals? If you don't want to clutter this thread Im sub'd to your build thread too.
The straight on shot of those remind me of my wheels if they were 15X10's

They're domed plastic lenses. They're considerably deeper than the old ones, I think I will have to a hole in the back of the headlight bucket and let them go back through the core support.
I finished everything up on them tonight but sealing the lenses up, and I'm going to wait and do that this weekend when I'm at home and have an oven with a more accurately controlled heat setting. But I will say they're the best looking set of headlights I've ever seen for one of these trucks, if I do say so myself lol
Its going on a very warm 400. They are Summit Racing's Street and Strip mufflers in the 3" flavor. Two mufflers, pipe, and header collectors cost less than $100($30 a muffler) and I still got free shipping. They seem to be of very high quality and do sound nice. Its an extremely deep and throaty muscle car/prostreet sound. Its just that not having any pipe after the muffler makes it very loud.
