Sold my 76 2wd F250 last Friday night... Went to a couple that was real excited to get it.

Hopefully I'll be able to get the 4x4 drivable within the next couple months. (Time permitting...)

Good luck with that whole "time permitting concept", I feel your pain.

I know. Most people that think about a rotational schedule, think "I'll have all the time in the world", but in reality, you have to squeeze all the "must do's" into your time off and try to get ahead for the next time you'll be away at work.

Still wouldn't give it up for a 5 day a week job.

I went across the pond to the sandbox in the mountains for 2 weeks and the "surprise", back on the far side of the world for a month and a 1/2 right now....

Я должен вам холодное пиво моего друга.

How it pronounced when spoken.

YA dolzhen vam kholodnoye pivo moyego druga.

I have the truck manifolds.

They fit fine. I will probably get a set of Interceptor manifolds or do the long headers during the entire rebuild. That is still a couple years out. Each manifold has it's own pipe and it sounds pretty good for what it is.

That oil dipstick location would indicate front sump. The 460 FRRP oil pan kit for the mustang will solve the problem. Comes with the oil pump, pick up, gasket, pan and dipstick. Nice kit for not much money.

C-AREVALOThat does look pretty nice in there.

I see you have the same age-installed air circulation system I've got in mine. It is okay, until the headers get hot or it rains heavily. lol

This was yesterday, but after it cooled off I decided to try and get some shine out of the pinkish\red '77. It was dark and I was basically just killing time and enjoying spending some quality time with one of my Dents in the light from the garage lights. Some of it's coming back nicely and some is going to require some grit to cut it. But I can see where it looks like it's had some paint work in it's life somewhere. I'm trying to load pics to gallery from phone.

Pulled the brown '79 around to the driveway after work tonight, got the rear up on stands and took off the wheels, cleaned them up a little. Going to to need a strip and reclear on them though so I'll probably try and get that done before I mount up the Nittos.
I'll have to agree that this site and all you guys really help to inspire me to tinker on my Dents.!

Btw, the wheels are kind of an Alcoa looking wheel, they were on it when I bought it in 97/98. Going to put them on the pinkish/reddish (LoL) '77 for now but figure on putting them on the '79 SC unless I can find some other nice wheels for it without going overboard...

I ordered more parts, so I guess nothing yet.

Nice work on the alternator 74.
