Everyone was uninjured. The insurance company came to the party and paid out the full sum insured within 46hrs (not 48, 46hrs) and my Panel guy gave me a bottle of single malt for as Condolence.

The guy that hit me went thru a Stop sign. Shoved the rear axle back 2.5" & bent the Chassis rail.

Driving a hybrid ''Tank" Camry. Standard Camry weighs in at anbout 1400kilos, Hybrid weighs in at about 2600

Finaly got the tilt steering column installed for the final time. Had it in but there was a ton of slop in the upper u-joint. Researched on here and figured out how to fix it. Took the whole column apart including the tilt mechanism to fix it and then put it all back togeather, you need three hands and more to get it back togeather, tuff when your by yourself.

Oh well, it's back in the truck now and working good. That led to me just sitting in it "Planning" with a cold beer in my hand for an hour or so last night...

Ice cold ingenuity is always good! some of your best ideas can come from a cold one. I took the fuel lines off of mine and brought my truck bed home wensday. cant do much with it rainin. Sometime next week I'm gonna put the bed on sawhorses upside down so i can undercoat the bottom of it. wanna keep it rust free like it already is

Tightened the header bolts... I could hear them backing out. Fired it up to circulate the fluids and check for exhaust leaks. Checks 4-Oh.

Gave her a quick wash and also cleaned out the drain holes in the bed.. Tomorrow I scrape, grind, the bed cuz she's finally gonna get some roll-on bedliner on Sunday.

Got my 79 out of storage today!! (Can't stand to drive it in the salt during the winter time) Was soo excited to clean it up and get it ready for the ford truck and bronco show in hudsonville next weekend.. til I saw how much tranny fluid and antifreeze it leaked while sittin, looks like ill be needing a new front seal on the transmission and maybe a new water pump this spring

Was gonna install my like new dash pad but found that my older sister dropped it and cracked/chipped/put a hole in it so my perfect dash pad is now damaged. What a disappointing weekend, I just dyed it like two weeks ago too

Figured out the hard way why my old truck was 4x4. Tried to get to my favorite fishing spot and there was a mud pit between myself, and fishing bliss. Backed up a bit, put her in drive, said a prayer, and apparently God wasn't listening at that moment, or wanted to teach me a lesson. Got half way through the mud and she just stopped. Rocked her back and forth a little, tried to back out, she kept getting stuck. A nice guy with a super duty came along and pulled me out. So I parked her, opened the hood to let her cool off, the temp gauge really was moving when I got stuck, and started fishing in a not so great spot.
