I fit a 40/20/40 clotch seat from an 04 f150 into my f250, and I'm wondering what the wiring going into the seats are for, besides just the seatbelt sensor (seats are all manual).

I have the colors and such written down around here somewhere, but maybe someone here can help me out while I look for them?

passenger seat (outer part) will have airbag sensor in it. the passenger one is to arm/disable the passenger airbag...but it depends on weight.

 

Yea there's the airbag sensor for the passanger (which I'm not using), and the seatbelt sensors because that seatbelts are built into the seat.

I have a handful of other wires, does anyone else have an idea of what they're for? Or an interior wiring diagram? Thanks.

 

You may also have a Seat Position Sensor on the seat track. So if it is there, you have three items on your manual seat: 1 seat belt chime wire, PODS (passenger occupant detection system), and SPS. It' unlikely you have a seat heater as well..
That should be about it. I work for a company that design seat for all major OEMs, I work on GM seats, and we don't have on universal harness for everything. There is usually on manual harness, and two power seat harnesses (6 way with seat heaters and power lumbar option or 4 way wo seat heaters and lumbars).
