Convert Electric windows to cranks

On my 89 F250, I replaced the doors off a 87 with power windows, I got them wired up and working then the motors failed! With the lack of $$$ for motors I went and swapped out the regulators and made holes in the door covers for the handles. The reguators are diffrent in mounting but all the holes should be there for you.

Btw, doors are brand new and haven't even seen the road since they were installed 2 years ago. No idea if the motors work or not, I just don't want any power options in a truck.

You will have to use manual regulators as they are diffrent than power. The mounting holes inside the doors should be there, if not a simple drilling out will fix that. The door panels I have did not have the holes for the cranks, I just cut them in correct place(don't use a hole saw... it not pretty when it snags!). I recall for my truck it was a simple bolt in.

I converted a set of manual doors that I bought for my truck to power, it was pretty straight forward just had to drill out the rivots and install the other regulators. See the link for some pics in the swap... Power Windows - a set on Flickr

I got a 90 F150 parts truck over the weekend. The 1st thing I got off was the driver's side window weather stripping(almost new!) and found a NEW Ford power window motor inside! Now my 89 F250 has the driver's side power window and the almost new weather stripping! Hope I get lucky with the passenger side!
On both trucks the holes for manual and electric are there in the doors. I used 1/4 long bolts and nuts to hold the regs in place.
