E3 Spark Plugs - Any Opinions?????
I am putting my 351w back together this weekend and will be needing new plugs before the engine get put back in... After seeing the E3's tested on HorsePower/PowerBlock I am wondering if any of you have tried the E3's? Do they work good? See any MPG improvements?

yeah... some of the guys at O'Reilly's were saying they weren't any better than motorcraft... But it's always hit or miss with the auto parts store guys and whether they are just giving a opion or have anything to back it up...
I'll go with Motorcraft... Any suggestions on Platinum or Copper Core... Do I need to go hotter on my plug with my new compression ratio at 9.17:1????

electricity takes the path of least resistance .. so i don't see how having a larger ground electrode and 3 paths back will do any good .. even with 'super expensive' manufacturing tolerances there are likely to be differences in conductivity ..

I think it sucks you can't check the gap before you install them. I use Motorcraft copper plugs and they work great. I replaced plugs a couple days ago and the gaps out of the box ranged form .030 to .055 give or take. Even they they come "pre-gapped," shipping bumps and stocking etc can change it a little. What about the E3 prevents that?

...Just put in the E3s , then let us know , a good coil & cap & wires will help , but you won't know what helped , i will stick to my autolites ...Lew

maybe the comments from other readers, but the article says that with the E3's they got less MPGs ..
I go with single ground platinums .. copper has better conductivity than platinum, but platinum last longer .. just make sure the rest of the ignition system is up to snuff .. or change regular copper at most every 10-20K .. platinums wear less and can go 50k or more ..
