I had the extra cab 79 version of that, far and away my favorite body style. With the cam and a modded turbo you can build some serious low end.

star, I'm not going to say anything about it being towed....................................man it's tough to keep my mouth shut!

6.9L...gotta be turbo
2wd T-19
attatch GearVendors to it
divorced Ford NP 205
front '86-'91 king-pin Dana 60

The biggest change I would make is an up to '77 grille. Those were good looking trucks.

yeah she's a crew cab short bed.

here's the long bed:

the easiest way to tell right off,is to look at the distance between the cab and rear wheel well.
notice how much shorter yours is star?

its a good thing tho with that crew,or you would need a parking lot to turn around in lol.
i dunno how people can stand driving the cc lb's.
its going to have a poor enough turning radius for ya im sure as is.

oh hey,here we go.here's a cc lb:

this is the long bed too of course:

I agree that it's cooler as a short bed crew cab.
I drive a long bed crew cab around A LOT and it's not as bad as people assume, maybe I'm just used to it.

I'll take the blue one. I love my truck but it doesn't have the class or character of a 70s ford. Maybe one day.....
