88 F250 Ignition diagrams? Ignition actuator is hard to push, with fingers or key.

Symptom: Key suddenly became difficult to turn and truck virtually ceased to start. If it does try to crank, it always starts, and starter is new.

I have begun taken the steering column apart and replaced the key tumbler (didn't fix). The tilt steering Ignition Actuator was replaced several years ago and appears to be in good shape, but pressing it by hand is also very difficult. Pic below is me pressing on it with steering wheel off.

The teeth of the metal piece that turning the key affects (not sure of part name) appear to be in great shape, and there is not any grease or buildup in the area.

I think the problem is at the other end of the Ignition Actuator, can anyone help me with a diagram of that area and how to access it?

If this ends up being a rodent caused thing, I will create such a death zone out of my carport, I swear

the upper actuator connects to a rod that goes through the column to the ignition switch on top of the column, about above the brake pedal.

Thanks guys! Just what I needed to figure out where it goes. Hopefully I can get Big Brown back on the road soon. And now I see that the diagram does have the part name of that long rod... Ignition Rod. I always try to learn the names of the individual parts.
