Quick history: This truck has been kept in a car port and a garage only a few yards away for it's entire life. It was a farm truck. I have owned it for about 15 years. Once in a while I try to fix it up, but something else always seem to come up and divert my attention before I do much at all. I haven't done any real restoration or tear downs.
It is light blue. It is the original paint and original rust on the right front fender, which was patched up with rivets at some point. There are specks of rust on some of the chrome. The grill is white painted. (Three "teeth") The rear fenders were removed in the early nineties and I can only find one. The bed has old rusty diamond plate and rust through on the lower side edges. The windows are all intact, but the right cigar window is cracked. All of the covering and padding has been removed from the bench seat, it is just springs on the frame. The ceiling and sides have had the lining removed. I got a spring for the glove box, but it is still hanging open. It's all dusty. The hood is not bolted on.
The 215 inline 6 cylinder turns over with the starter. There's a new 6 volt battery with 1000 some cca and it gets drained quickly doing the cranking. The carb has been rebuilt and seems to function well. No spark is reaching the plugs and I have not determined why. A new fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator were installed a few months ago. The brakes will not work. The brake fluid is dust and the brake shoes are in a box. All of the original stuff is there except that one rear fender. THere are a few parts and other things in a box for the truck, including the sho manual and two new brake cylinders.
I'll check the odometer for milage later, request if I forget.

HAHAHHAHA I understand cot-rot. However, I'm not sure if the bed would be worth it for you unless you are good with welding and sheet metal. It's probably going to be parted out if no one here takes it... So I'll say yes, $500, but the labor and hauling is on you. Leave your e-mail for a photo.

I have a 52 F-6 and the front fenders are pretty bad. I know the f-2 through F-6 take the same fenders. what shape are your front fenders in and is the truck still available?

Nobody would want the rest if I took off the front fenders

I should probably just pay one of you who know the '52 inside and out to just get it running - I'd bet it doesn't need much, and would run fine for a while... but the brakes.. hmm
