Here's my other rides

Tgreening, you're a man after my own heart... I've owned a 77 CJ7, an 84 Cherokee (the worst jeep ever built), an 87 Wrangler, a 95 wrangler, a 94 Grand Cherokee, an 06 grand Cherokee, and an 06 Commander. My GF currently owns an 04 Grand Cherokee
I'm currently looking for an older Wrangler to build into a rock crawler (or preferably a CJ7 if I can find a quality one), and probably going to upgrade the gf's GC to a wrangler unlimited.

The early year Cherokees suffered from low power and/or that funky renix engine system, but in the 90's they got 4.0 HO, a good tranny and xfer case and was probably one of the most all around useful Jeeps I have ever had. I had a 94 and loved it but let a friend talk me into selling it to his boy.
You shouldn't have much trouble finding a good CJ out your way. You might have to travel a bit but out west you should do better then back here in the Rust Belt. I've got a glass-bodied CJ5 that's about 75% through it's re-do getting a 304 V8/4 speed that's going to hit the auction block when I'm done. Probably just what the doctored ordered for those tight Utah trails.

Who said I was keeping up? Right now it eats up pretty much all my time since I have a bad habit of turning everything into a "project" and can't just leave well enough alone. I didn't bother to post any pictures of the 80 CJ5 I'm about 75% through or the '68 Jeep Gladiator that's only about 10%.
I'm lucky (cursed?) that I have enough garage to house it all and a wife that doesn't mind. As long as I give her and the kids the weekends I'm pretty much free to do what I want during the week.
