Sterling 10.25 Questions

I gotta rebuild my rear axle and I want to go ahead and add limited slip to it. I want to have the Tru-Trac LS and not the crappy old style.

I got a '96 F250 which has the 6.5x8 lug pattern with drum brakes. I was wondering if I could get a used axle out of a superduty which has disc brakes and the Tru-Trac LS and somehow convert the hubs to 6.5x8?

its much easier to just yank the carrier out of the superduty rear axle. it will bolt right into your truck using your ring gear. the rear disc swap can be done for about 3-400 bucks depending on what parts you want to use, the caddilac rear calipers for park brakes are now dirt cheap from advance auto
