Can't lube upper ball joints 2008 450
Had my truck in for the 10,000 mile service and my shop "forgot" to lube the front end.
Rather than waste time bringing it back and leaving it, I did it myself except for the upper ball joints.
I can't get the grease to enter the fitting it just squirts out around the zerk. I've pushed the grease gun as far as I can onto the zerk (it's awkward, you have to rotate the U-joint) There's no rust or dirt of any kind around it. In fact there's no residue of any kind of grease at all. All the other zerks in the front suspension work fine. Anyone have an idea?
Thanks.

You might try replacing the regular zerk with a 45deg or 90deg zerk. Maybe get a better angle on it with the grease gun.
Might have to take it back out and put the original in once you're done, if the u-joint hits it.
Edit --- just re-read your previous post:
Don't do that! My lower right side ball joint failed last spring. The other three were fine. Come to find out the boot had a small hole in it which caused it to fail sooner than the others. I suppose you might get by with it if you made sure to keep new grease in there all the time, but I wouldn't chance it. The zerk is the right way to do it. Good luck!

Lower right ball joint boot has pinhole
This truck that I have also has a hole in the lower right ball joint boot! that's where I got the idea! the grease came squirting out when it got full. I thought that was normal. Guess I should take it to the dealer for replacement.
BTW I used to have a red 250 sport CC just like yours except 03. Hated to get rid of it.
