Will it ever stop snowing?

It just keeps coming! more tonight and tomarrow. Hope everyone is staying worm and safe out there. The truck is shifting great now and I just had to play with the vrv on the ip (vaccum regulator valve on the injection pump for any one that doesn't now diesels lol). They let us out of work at noon today due to the roads and they were not that bad. Told us that if there wasa level 2 or worse in the morning they would be closed tomarrow as well, looks like I may get a little vacation.

Yes, it will quit snowing as soon as the globe warms up a little more.

I know what you're sayin'. More snow tonight, and a possible snow storm again on Sunday or Monday according to the weather guys I heard today. Glad the tranny is working like it's suppose to.

I was in class already and they went and closed NKU down. So we opted to finish the class since we were there and then head home. Well after a bit of playing in 4wd that is.

Glad the tranny is shifting for you Buck. How long is the warranty on this one? Hmm all this time off maybe find you a farm down close to you, so that you can help out on and get the cash together to get the manual 5 speed to put in the beast.

Now I will be the first to admit I don't know much about diesels. Buck did you put a turbo on the 6.9 in the beast? What is the fuel consumption with or without the turbo in general? I have been at another website that is praising the ability of the diesel motor. They also talk about switching motors out of other vehicles to diesels so that they have more reliability and such. just thinking about future vehicles down the road.

No turbo yet. The money just never seems to be there lol. Most guys tell me that I could get another couple mpg with one though. that would take it from 17-18 in summer to maybe 19-20. In the winter I get about 15-16 with warm up and lose of mileage due to winter blend fuel. If you want a diesel we could build you a Bronco like mine lol. They are easy to work on and seem to run forever.

Yeah as long as the transmission holds up. haha!

With my luck not as long as yours have lasted. If I was to do something along those lines, I would have to go manual from the start.

I would have but I thought they had the old type spring clutch. Now I know they have hydrulic ones so I am gonna switch. My knee just can't handle the old clutches after I hit that deer on my bike.

YA and this time it might hit me a little harder. Oh great. The stupid Aztek is down again and I will have to find a way to get it back to Tom Gill toget it fixed. Really don't want to pay another tow bill on it. I think I might call them tomarrow and tell them a thing or two about thier way of fixing things.

That is something I am gonna suggest to them but you know how stealerships can be. I am just a little poed that it didn't last much more than a week. I tried to start it saturday and it locked up again. I did some online research and found a couple of things that might cause this and they couldn't find the problem. All I did was lok at their own service bullitins. Now that is just lazy.
